Employer’s Agent

We also provide a comprehensive Employer’s Agent (EA) service for all projects operating under a design and build form of contract. As Employer’s Agent we act as Project Co-ordinator during the pre-contract phase and Contract Administrator throughout the construction phase. Whilst this service can be offered separately, combining this with our Quantity Surveying service enables us to provide a more complete package and offers better value for money to our Clients.. Our EA role includes the following core services:

  • Define and develop of Client’s brief and project execution plan
  • Assisting in appointment of Client’s professional team and monitoring deliverables
  • Managing communication processes and co-ordination of the team
  • Issuing of information and instructions on behalf of the Client
  • Preparing the Employer’s Requirements
  • Preparing contract documents
  • Administering change control procedures
  • Issuing instructions, notices and certificates
  • Considering contractor’s claims
  • Chairing construction progress meetings
  • Construction phase site inspections and conformity to Employer’s Requirements
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress and performance
