Following a thorough tender process, Modus has been accepted as a supplier onto the NHS London Procurement Partnership under the Estates and Facilities Consultancy Services DPS for Quantity Surveying and Cost Consultancy Services. The initial DPS will last 5 years, with the possibility of further extension. With every penny spent by public sector bodies being scrutinised, the DPS ensures Contracting Authorities have access to suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to provide specific categories of work.

Hosted by Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT), the LPP currently works in collaboration with 52 named NHS Trusts and community providers, 30 Clinical Commissioning Group clusters, Community Health Partnerships and a number of non-NHS organisations. Modus will be offering services to the Greater London and South East areas under the framework.

We look forward to providing the partnership with our Cost Consultancy Services, increasing not only efficiency but also trust and reliability from SMEs into the public sector.

We are super proud to announce that despite a demanding 2020, 4 of the Modus team passed their respective exams with flying colours! Staff development and training are at the core of Modus’ principles, and with the fantastic grades achieved, it’s clear that our staff really love what they do.

Sam Prideaux, our first ever Trainee Surveyor (starting with us back in 2015!) and now qualified Quantity Surveyor, completed his BSc Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying, achieving a 2:1.

Tom Trew, Assistant Surveyor, completed his Masters in Quantity Surveying, achieving a First Class result!

Matt Wnorowski, Assistant Surveyor, completed his Masters in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management in October and achieved a 2:1.

Claudia Hobbs, our Office Administrator, completed her AAT Accounting Foundation Level 2 Certificate at East Kent College.

We currently have 2 team members studying through day-release at university. Jake Pitcher, Assistant Surveyor, is studying for his BSc Honours in Quantity Surveying, due to complete in July 2021, and Josh Belsey, one of our Trainee QS’s is also studying for an Honours degree in Quantity Surveying. Josh is due to complete his course in 2025. Our other Trainee QS, Becca, will also be embarking on her QS degree this September, having had a year of on-the-job training and experience.

We are unbelievably proud of the pressures our team take on, not only meeting client deadlines, but also putting everything they can into their studies. A huge well done to those who received their certificates recently and we can’t wait to see the results the rest of the team gain over the next few years!
