Employer’s Agent
We also provide a comprehensive Employer’s Agent (EA) service for all projects operating under a design and build form of contract. As Employer’s Agent we act as Project Co-ordinator during the pre-contract phase and Contract Administrator throughout the construction phase. Whilst this service can be offered separately, combining this with our Quantity Surveying service enables us to provide a more complete package and offers better value for money to our Clients.
Our Employer’s Agent role includes the following core services:
- Define and develop Client’s brief and project execution plan
- Assisting in appointment of Client’s professional team and monitoring deliverables
- Managing communication processes and co-ordination of the team
- Issuing of information and instructions on behalf of the Client
- Preparing the Employer’s Requirements
- Preparing contract documents
- Administering change control procedures
- Issuing instructions, notices and certificates
- Considering contractor’s claims
- Chairing construction progress meetings
- Construction phase site inspections and conformity to Employer’s Requirements
- Monitoring and reporting on progress and performance
