We are thrilled to announce that Modus won the Construction Project of the Year at the KEiBA 2019 Awards! The ceremony, organised by the KM Media Group and Kent County Council, and now in its’ 11th year, recognises and rewards excellence in business in Kent and Medway.

The winning project, MY Life Skills Academy which was constructed at the Rare Breeds Centre in Woodchurch was completed for our Client, The Canterbury Oast Trust, with the assistance of Kent Design Studio and Sprinks Construction.

The Academy is a purpose-built teaching facility which supports adults with learning disabilities and consists of 4 flexible classrooms, a dedicated one-to-one study area and a specially designed interactive space developed to suit the needs of the centre’s students and tutors. The Academy provides students with quality training through a range of informal or accredited programmes, carefully designed to build confidence with an emphasis on supporting independence and developing skills.
