Modus provided Quantity Surveying Services to our client Kent County Council for the refurbishment works to the Darwin Science Block at the Towers School in Ashford.

The proposed changes would provide 7Nr Science teaching labs, 2Nr Studio spaces and related prep rooms and office space. The access arrangements were upgraded to allow for access to the ground floor labs. The proposal also included replacement of the heating, ventilation and cooling systems, providing more efficient and suitable provision. There were some changes to the entrance and egress to make the building compliant from a fire safety and an external fire escape is also included.
