The project comprises the rationalisation, refurbishment and extension of Megger Instruments Global Headquarters on the A20 at Archcliffe in Dover.

The initial £4m project will take a phased approach with anticipated completion in 2020, with potential additional works being progressed over the following years. The phasing of the project is critical to ensure business continuity throughout the works and Modus are taking the lead in developing the phasing plan.

The project aims to bring operational functionality throughout the facility by reconfiguring internal spaces and departments, whilst providing a high-quality environment that is conducive to the innovative high-tech design and manufacture that is undertaken at the site. A new reception extension and façade replacement will transform this prominent local landmark.

Modus are responsible for establishing the early stage total project budgets, project team appointments, all stages of cost estimating, tendering of the works packages, value engineering, and post contract cost control and will play an active and integral role in the overall project delivery.
