Modus have been appointed as Quantity Surveyor on the construction of a brand new primary school for Thanington, Canterbury.
The new educational facility will provide vital school places for children from surrounding residential developments and will adopt an MMC construction methodology.
The project will be delivered in two phases. Phase 1: A new primary school with a 1FE teaching provision, 2FE core and external landscaping. Phase 2: Remaining 2FE teaching provision.
Once completed, the new school will provide 420 places for pupils aged 4 to 11 years old with an integral 26 place nursery, playing fields, playground and Multi-Use Games Area.
Phase 1 is due to complete intime for the beginning of the September 2025 term.
